Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour, the Head of Center for International Research and Education (CIRE) met with the Delegation of Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies of Turkey (ORSAM) headed by the president of this Center Prof. Saban Kardas.

Dr. Hadi Soleimanpour, the Head of Center for International Research and Education (CIRE) met with the Delegation of Center for Middle Eastern Strategic Studies of Turkey (ORSAM) headed by the president of this Center Prof. Saban Kardas on April 20, 2014.
In this meeting, by defining the new foreign policy approach of the I.R. of Iran which is based on benevolence and understanding, Dr. Soleimanpour emphasized the role of mutual cooperation in order to achieve harmonious relationships at regional level through putting aside geopolitical competitions. He also enumerated the significant position of Turkey in the region and stated that the I.R. of Iran and Republic of Turkey, have in common multiple interests attainable on the basis of a win-win situation.
Subsequently, the Head of the Turkish Delegation, Prof. Şaban Kardaş, referred to the new foreign policy of the I.R. of Iran as an appropriate approach in order to reach mutual understanding across the region and accentuated that the Republic of Turkey in the same vein considers harmonious relationship between both countries as the main axis to reach a win-win situation at regional level. He, besides, characterized the foreign policy of the Republic of Turkey toward the region as well as in respect to recent developments in the Islamic countries, and expressed hope that regional countries would be able to strengthen their cooperation in the areas of mutual interests.
Both parties, at the end, articulated their willingness to move forward their collaboration in related fields of international research and studies.
